Shapes and colors have always had a particular draw for me. Rendering letter forms and creating illustrations gave me hours of entertainment during my youth here in sunny California. During my time in the military, a pen and paper were my outlet of choice to escape the stress and monotonous routine of submarine life. A simple Bic pen could take me home, to the moon, or to whatever world I could imagine in seconds flat. Now my life revolves around typography and branding. Art can change every aspect of life if you allow it.

Memories of eating my morning cereal and watching Saturday morning cartoons come to mind. I was subconsciously decoding masterful timing, and zany animated antics as the creations of Chuck Jones flashed before my eyes. As I grew, older comic books and video games became my obsession. Color, texture, and patterns became my reality. They became woven into my very essence. Brilliant letter forms and innovative color schemes were constantly all around me, evolving rapidly. Today I am surrounded by endless media and inspiration from Professor Oak to MF Doom. The future is bright and full of wonder.
